Current Strings in Stock

Luxilon 4G
1.25 mm: $22
One of the best polys known for control, tension maintenance, and comfort.
High spin potential.

Luxilon ALU Power
1.25 mm: $22
A legendary poly. One of the first ever. Renowned for its feel, spin, and reliability. Still used on tour by many top pros.

Babolat RPM Blast
1.25 & 1.30 mm: $22
Maybe the most popular poly ever. Nadal’s string of choice for its spin potential and durability.

Yonex Poly Tour Pro
1.20 & 1.25 mm: $22
Very popular round poly for touch and control. Plenty of spin potential, too. Works well in a poly hybrid for snapback and comfort.

Solinco Mach-10
1.15, 1.20 & 1.25 mm: $16
The soft poly that plays like a stiff one. A best seller. It has a smooth feel, plenty of spin, and also offers a little extra pop. Looks fantastic, too!

Solinco Confidential Soft
1.15, 1.20 & 1.25 mm: $15
AKA “Hot Con”, this poly provides way more comfort than OG Confidential and has decent spin potential. Already super popular.

Solinco Hyper-G
1.20 & 1.25 mm: $15
Solinco’s flagship string and their most popular by pros, top juniors, and college players. This stiff poly delivers crazy amounts of spin and control.

Solinco Tour Bite
1.20, 1.25, and 1.05 mm: $15
Hugely popular poly with super stiff for unreal amounts of spin and a crisp feel. One of my best sellers for good reason, and in my top 5 favorite strings!

Solinco Confidential
1.20 & 1.25 mm: $15
A fantastic, low-powered and crisp, poly, for lots of spin and control. Has a long playability duration as well.
My #1, go-to string since it debuted in 2020.

Solinco Hyper-G Round
1.20 & 1.25 mm: $15
A round poly that’s great for accuracy, touch, and playability duration. Offers more power than OG Hyper-G and does well as a cross to firm up a stringbed.

Solinco Hyper-G Soft
1.20 & 1.25 mm: $15
This soft version of Hyper-G has high levels of control, spin, and feel. Not muted like OG HG. A former favorite of mine. Really good for a first-time poly user.

Solinco Tour Bite Soft
1.20 & 1.25 mm: $15
This softer version of Tour Bite is actually quite popular on tour. Nearly same spin potential as regular TB but has a different hitting sensation and better pocketing.

Solinco Tour Bite Rough
1.20 mm: $15
TB’s round and textured version also offers good bite on the ball. Has a softer feel and better ball-pocketing. A great cross string that rivals ALU Power Rough.

Solinco Confidential Pink
1.20 & 1.25 mm: $15
Same formula as OG Confidential. Plenty of bite, but the pink dye gives it a softer feel. No longer in production!
Get it while supplies last!

Solinco Tour Bite Round
1.20 & 1.25 mm: $15
Unreleased and a new favorite! Soft feel on flat shots, but crisp feel for spin shots. Excellent control, outstanding tension maintenance, and extra-long playability. Seriously good string.

Solinco Hyper-G Rough
1.20 & 1.25 mm: $15
An unreleased string from Solinco that’s actually existed for years. This slick, textured version of HG provides power and spin. Plays well in a hybrid as a cross.

Gosen AK Pro CX
1.24 & 1.30 mm: $15
My top selling string! Some compare it to natural gut due to its identical power and similar comfort. This combo multi/syn gut has good spin potential as well.

Gosen AK Pro CX (Black Spiral)
1.24 mm: $16
Exactly the same string as the naturally colored one. Differentiating because it is only available in 17 gauge and it’s more difficult to acquire.

Gosen G-Spin 3
1.23 mm: $12
This is legitimately a high-quality soft poly. Plays like Yonex Poly Tour Pro with a better price point. Great tension maintenance, and legit, huge spin potential. Love the color.

Diadem Solstice Power
1.20 & 1.25 mm: $10
Diadem’s flagship string. A hexagram-shaped (Star of David), super sharp poly, for incredible spin potential.

Diadem Solstice Black
1.20 & 1.25 mm: $15
A softer version of Solstice Power with near identical spin, but better tension maintenance and less stiff.

Diadem Evolution
1.30 mm: $12
A soft, comfortable, and spinny string, specifically designed to be a durable cross that can withstand shaped polys.

Gosen OG-Sheep Micro (Black & White)
1.22 & 1.29 mm: $6
Highly-rated and renowned synthetic gut;
Good fullbed for a classic feel or hybriding as a cross with almost any poly.

Signum Pro Thunderstorm
1.24 mm: $10
A ten-sided, twisted poly for spin and control. Plays similar to ALU Power Rough. Great if you like purple.

Hybrid Setups you may want to try!

Solinco Mach-10 /
Solinco Hyper-G Round

These two strings truly complement each other well. HG Round firms up the feel of Mach-10 and dials in the control. Spin is plentiful. Many of my players enjoy this hybrid a lot.

Solinco Confidential Soft /
Solinco Hyper-G Round

This is my current setup. I really like it. Again, HG Rd stiffens up the soft mains, and adds power and a crisper feel. The strings flash pink & green while playing. Which is cool.

Solinco Confidential /
Solinco Tour Bite Round

If you like Confidential, you should try this. It’s like Confidential got an upgrade. Plays just as well or better than full bed Confidential and also reduces its “tinniness”.

Gosen AK Pro CX /
Solinco Tour Bite Rough

The champion’s (other) choice. This is a super soft but durable setup. Easy power from the “gut-like” mains, and nice spin from the rough crosses.

Solinco Confidential Soft /
Solinco Tour Bite Round

Very high spin potential here. TB Round adds a little more power and touch. Love how it feels when hitting big.

Gosen AK Pro CX /
Tecnifibre Razor Soft

This hybrid mimics Medvedev’s current setup. He uses natural gut mains/Razor Soft crosses. Easy power and great control here. Close to the real thing but way more affordable.

Solinco Hyper-G Soft /
Gosen OG Sheep Micro

A great hybrid for someone trying out poly string for the first time. I use this for my 3.0-3.5 clients. A more comfortable setup than full poly.

Solinco Mach-10 /
Gosen OG Sheep Micro

Honestly, feels nearly identical to the previous one. But maybe you like blue and didn’t know this was an option! Potentially could be better, too.

Solinco Confidential /
Solinco Hyper-G Rough

The HG Rough in this setup make for extra snapback from the crisp Confidential, allowing for loads of spin. There’s a great blend of bite, feel, and a little extra power.

Solinco Mach-10 /
Solinco Tour Bite Round

This one plays just as well as the hybrid with HG Round crosses. I’d say just a little more plush (less stiff). Still creates a lot of spin and slightly better tension maintenance.

Solinco Tour Bite Soft / Solinco Hyper-G Round

A huge amount of spin and power, and easy access to both. TB Soft usually feels mushy, but not with the firm HG Round.

Gosen AK Pro CX /
Solinco Mach-10

This setup brought to you by 2025 Dallas Open champion, Jenson Brooksby. He used natural gut mains/ Mach-10. Powerful and plush, with great tension maintenance.

I have personally tried all of these hybrids myself. They would not be on here if I didn’t. There are plenty of combos that I’ve tried and I genuinely was not a fan of. E.g., Gosen OG Micro Sheep mains and HG Soft crosses - didn’t feel good and notching occurred instantly.

Just remember: these are my personal opinions. You could like a hybrid that I haven’t listed but that I did try, or even one that I wouldn’t necessarily recommend!

Bumper and Grommet replacement: $15

If you have the grommets I will affix them to your racquet.

Solinco “Green Tape” Grip
$2 each

Unreleased from Solinco. Has a great tacky feel but it’s really the durability that’s amazing. Hopefully coming to market soon.

Solinco Heaven Grip
$2 each

This cloth-based dry grip is for heavy sweaters that find their hands slipping at first perspiration. I use these 😅

Solinco Tour
Tennis Balls
$4 per can

Honestly, they’re very good. They retain their bounce for a long time. I’ve played matches with them and my opponents approved as well - of the balls at least, not the loss!

You can check out the Talk Tennis Forum reviews, too! Only knock I’ll give them is that they tend to fluff up a bit.

Creating your own hybrid

Making your own hybrid is actually super easy. Just follow the general wisdom and you’re all set.

Most common hybrid setups:

  1. Poly mains / Synthetic Gut crosses:

Take your favorite poly and make it play softer by using a synthetic gut for the cross. There’s still plenty of spin potential from the mains, but now a tad more power and comfort from the crosses. You could put a multifilament string in the cross (as most do) but I find that it breaks more quickly. Using synthetic gut will achieve the same goal and it will last longer.

E.g., Yonex Poly Tour Pro/Gosen OG Sheep Micro

  2. Shaped Poly mains / Round (or Rough) Poly crosses:

The idea here is that the shaped mains (a string that has 3 or more sides) will slide more easily along the crosses, creating a snapback effect, potentially resulting in more spin. While round and rough strings are both circular, rough strings have some texture to them. They are actually well known for being slick and inherently softer, which is perfect for a cross.

    E.g., Solinco Mach-10/Hyper-G Round; Solinco Confidential/Hyper-G Rough

  3. Same poly, different gauges:

This still constitutes a hybrid and is growing in popularity. In the same vein as #2 above, a thicker string in the mains should be able to move more freely when the cross string is thinner. Again, hopefully resulting in more spin via the snapback effect. This also achieves a slight improvement in comfort.

    E.g., Solinco Tour Bite 1.25 mm/Tour Bite 1.20 mm; Solinco Hyper-G 1.20 mm/Hyper-G 1.10 mm

  4. Natural Gut, Multifilament, or durable Synthetic Gut mains /Round (or Rough) Poly crosses:

This is the most powerful and comfortable hybrid when compared to any of the above. With a poly cross, this setup will provide additional spin potential.
A shaped poly can work as well but it might cut into the multifilament and prematurely break it. If using a shaped poly, I’d recommend the mains be thicker to help withstand the edges.

E.g., Gosen AK Pro CX/Tecnifibre Razor Soft; Wilson NXT 1.30 mm/Solinco Hyper-G Round 1.25 mm
